Adobe have done a short customer showcase on me for CS5. Looking at how CS5 and the new native DSLR support has sped up production, especially for an upcoming shoot at the Soccer World Cup in Johannesburg this June.

Can you hear it?.......CS5 is coming

It has been really hard to stay quiet on this one until we have been given official approval. Which we have. So without further delay I bring you CS5. What can I say about it? Absolutely nothing except for its on its way ;)

Click on the link to register for the launch event on April 12 when you will be able to see what all the fuss is about, and then head on back here where I will have a whole bunch of sneak peeks of the software in action.

I can honestly say, of all the releases of CS I have been involved with, this is by far the most exciting, especially for those of us who are diving into the deep water that is DSLR film making!

The term 'game changer' is thrown around a lot these days. I have used it to describe the Canon and Nikons DSLRs and the RED, but never for software as far as DSLR's are concerned. Well this is well and truly a GAME CHANGER.

So until April 12, have a good one and start preparing to say a fond farewell to your current NLE :)
